The Assault Vest is a valuable held item in Cobblemon that enhances a Pokémon's defensive capabilities. It boosts the Special Defense of the holder by 50%, making it a strategic choice for battles. However, this defensive advantage comes with a significant trade-off: the holder cannot select any status moves. If the Pokémon is left with only status moves and no offensive options, it will resort to using Struggle.

Obtaining the Assault Vest​

Crafting​

To craft an Assault Vest, players will need the following materials:

  • Protector: A key component in crafting the Assault Vest.
  • Red Wool: Used in the crafting process for its color and texture.
  • Leather Tunic: This item forms the base for the vest.

Crafting Recipe​

  • Place a Protector in the center of the crafting table.
  • Arrange Red Wool around the Protector in the three remaining slots horizontally.
  • Position a Leather Tunic directly below the line of Red Wool.

Successfully combining these items in the specified pattern will yield an Assault Vest.
