Apricorns in Cobblemon serve as a crucial component for crafting various Poké Balls, each with a unique color and crafting recipe. These colorful plants grow on apricorn trees and can be found throughout the Cobblemon world. Understanding their growth stages and uses can significantly enhance a player's gameplay experience.

Obtaining​

Apricorns can be collected from apricorn trees where they grow naturally. When an apricorn is fully developed, interacting with it yields a single apricorn, and leaves behind an apricorn bud in its initial growth stage. Additionally, activating a redstone dispenser containing shears allows for apricorn harvesting. There's also a 10% probability of acquiring apricorn seeds when collected.

Usage​

Farming​

Apricorns develop through four distinct stages of growth. Initially, they appear as small, black buds, progressing to larger, lighter-brown stages as they grow. The final stage sees the apricorn at its full size, showcasing its specific color. Generally, apricorns take one Minecraft day to fully mature and can be accelerated using bonemeal to advance to the next phase. However, breaking an apricorn before it reaches its final stage results in no item drop, instead destroying the apricorn.

While in Creative Mode, apricorns can be placed on apricorn leaves to create new buds.

Composting​

Inserting an apricorn into a composter creates a 65% chance of raising the compost level by one.

Crafting Ingredient​

Apricorns are versatile crafting ingredients for creating various Poké Balls. Each ball requires different combinations of apricorns colored as Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Black, and White along with materials like Copper, Iron, or Gold Ingots. Here are a few examples of apricorn-based recipes:
