Upgrade

An Upgrade serves as a pivotal evolutionary item in the Cobblemon universe, specifically designed to evolve Porygon into Porygon2 when it is held during a trade or with the use of a link cable. The process of evolution consumes the Upgrade item, making each Upgrade valuable and one-time use.

Obtaining an Upgrade​

Crafting​

To craft an Upgrade, the following materials are required:

  • Glass
  • Redstone Lamp
  • Copper Ingot

The crafting recipe requires you to combine these ingredients in a crafting table to successfully create an Upgrade.

Drops​

In addition to crafting, Upgrades can also be obtained as drops from specific Cobblemon. Notably, a Porygon2 has a 25% chance to drop an Upgrade upon defeat, with the quantity being 1 per successful drop.
