The Link Cable is an essential evolution item within Cobblemon, particularly used for evolving Pokémon that traditionally require trading for their evolution.

To craft a Link Cable, arrange the following materials in a crafting table:

  • Iron Ingot
  • Copper Ingot
  • Popped Chorus Fruit

Link Cables are occasionally found in various locations across the Cobblemon world, such as:

  • Woodland Mansions
  • Pillager Outposts
  • Igloos
  • End Cities
  • Ancient Cities

Usage​

The primary utility of the Link Cable is to evolve specific Pokémon that evolve via trade. Here's a list of Pokémon that can evolve with this item:

  • Kadabra
  • Machoke
  • Graveler
  • Alolan Graveler
  • Haunter
  • Boldore
  • Gurdurr
  • Phantump
  • Pumpkaboo

It also aids in the evolution of Poliwhirl, Slowpoke, Onix, Scyther, Seadra, Porygon, Porygon2, Clamperl, Feebas, Rhydon, Electabuzz, Magmar, Dusclops, Spritzee, and Swirlix when these Pokémon are holding specific items.

Before Cobblemon version 1.3, the only way to acquire a Link Cable was through rare drops from Pokémon. This method was removed post-version 1.3, making crafting and loot the main means of obtaining a Link Cable.
