Protector

The Protector is a valuable evolutionary item prominently utilized to evolve Rhydon into Rhyperior within the Cobblemon server. The item becomes essential when Rhydon holds it during a trade or through the use of a link cable, a process which results in the consumption of the Protector itself.

Obtaining​

Crafting​

To craft a Protector, players need the following materials arranged in a specified manner:

  • Polished Granite
  • Terracotta
  • Block of Copper
  • Any Terracotta

This combination will yield a Protector.

Drops​

A Protector can also be obtained as a drop from certain Pokémon, each with varying drop rates:

  • Rhyhorn (#0111): 2.5% drop rate, 1 Protector.
  • Rhydon (#0112): 5% drop rate, 1 Protector.
  • Donphan (#0232): 5% drop rate, 1 Protector.
  • Rhyperior (#0464): 10% drop rate, 1 Protector.

Usage​

Crafting Ingredient​

The Protector can be further utilized as a crafting ingredient to create other items, including:

  • Assault Vest: Requires Red Wool and Leather Tunic along with Red Wool arranged in a specific pattern with the Protector at the center.
